Well it looks like BioWares Mass Effect 2 could topple Nintendos Italian Plumber, And Sony's PS3 couldn't outpace the Xbox 360 In all sales of consoles and games are down but for a January each console sold pretty good. Surprisingly Mass Effect 2 sold over 500,000 in under 5 days. And sony' Massive Action Game didn't even chart in the top 10

Wow it looks like Nintendo is still on top of the gaming industry take a look at December 2009's NPD sales the PS3 barely bested the 360 and the Wii finally took the top spot from the Nintendo DS

-Wii: 3.81M

-DS: 3.31M

-PS3: 1.36M

-360: 1.31M

-PSP: 655K

-PS2: 333K

And on the Software side nintendo still regins supreme with 6 of the top 10 being nintendo games and 360 with 3 and PS3 with a only 1
